Summer sky blues....

What I'd like to have in my pocket <3

Adding colour to my life!
I've decided I'm not exactly being who I want to be at the moment- I'm nervous, socially awkward, scared of the littlest things! I've decided it's time to change my spots, add more colour to my life! Plus, I love slush, I need to get more fruity with my diet and I'd love to try this experiment with roses! This leads me on to my next wants collage!

...Try new things!
I'd love to learn how to draw anime like this one! I want to get more experimenty with my makeup and I just loooooove minions! Eeeep! :D

Thoughts Session: Memories

Hello my beautifulls,
A yesterday I was Sat watching Up! With my baby niece in my arms and I thought about taking a picture for Instagram, Facebook, twitter but I couldn't because my camera and my iPad were to far away to reach with my little niece on my arms but then I got to thinking- why do I feel the need to share this with everyone, they don't care really and it proves nothing, I'd rather sit a soak up the moment: so I snuggled her tighter and rest my head on hers, she was like a little hot water bottle and I was dreading the moment she got bored a wriggled out of my arms, but when she finally did after about twenty minutes I vowed not to forget that moment- so happy yet barely doing anything. I suppose what I am trying to say is you don't need to battle a tiger to find happiness it's all around you- you just have to take a moment to see it clearly and not run off to record the moment: record it in your memories.

How I style my Vans- *star print*

Hello lovelies!

Yesterday I went out and bought my first ever pair of vans! *cheer*
So, I thought I'd show you, after a little bit of experimenting, how I've chose to style them.

No laces! Yeah i know what your thinking, "doesn't everybody" but I find that I end up tucking my laces in over and over so I came up with a little trick!

I tried wrapping my laces round my ankles but the ends kept popping out my shoe...

So I wrapped them round, making it so both ends were at the front of my ankle and tucked the little bows beneath the tongue of my shoe and there you have it... Laces that shouldn't budge but make it easy to get your Vans off when you need to!

Ta Dah...

So which one do you like best/wear- Laces vs. No laces:

Well, I know this was a pretty simple how to tutorial... But I hope to get more crafty soon enough ;)

Home Style #001 - Hearty!

Hey lovelies,

So, today is the first of the home style series! I find that if the things around me are clean, tidy and just a little pretty, I feel happier and find it more easy to be productive because there is no mess! I dream of one day being wealthy enough to design my own house from top to bottom... But for now, I'm at home, in my bedroom adding pretty things to the walls and cupboards, desk and drawers.

Now, I have to admit I didn't buy these decorative hearts myself but got them as a gift which I'm very grateful for! They are so cute, pretty and delicate and I'm looking around for more to fit somewhere in my room!

I brought these hearts downstairs to photograph because though, I have them hanging in my bedroom, I'm not quite happy with where they are at the moment. So anyway, I hung this one on the chest of drawers in the dining room. I think the white against the dark wooden background makes this heart an eye catching feature of room. Also, it exaggerates the delicacy of the decorative piece.

I also hung this white floral heart on the cupboard door as again the white flowers stand out against the mahogany.

There you have it... In all honesty I've never wrote about interior design before and I'm afraid this may have been a little boring but I hope you join me as I get into the swing of things anyway, T xo

Seaside Beauty Essentials!

"The sun is shining, all around me, children playing, having fun, it's the season for love and understanding, merry summer everyone!" (;

Hello my lovelies! So today my family decided to completely disrespect the blogging schedule they didn't know about and whisk me off to the seaside... therefore I have not had time to put together the high fashion piece I scheduled! However, I refuse to let you go without a post so here's my seaside makeup tutorial and some of my adventures by the sea!

I am a typical British person- it's 'always cold' and I'm always moaning about it and when it is hot, it's too hot! This heat wave has pretty much put me off wearing any make up on at all but I made a teeny effort to go to the coast!

My Seaside Beauty Essentials

Barbara Daly's Pressed Powder in 'soft linen'

Now, if I'm honest I'd actually recommend using a BB cream instead as they
are a lot lighter on the skin and even contain SPF, but unfortunately mine has run out.
Though, this was long-lasting and served me well for the day!

MUA Bronzing Powder

Ruby Recommends Blush Duo

Okay, so I wouldn't call these essentials, but they have become my comfort blanket over the last few months and I just couldn't resist brushing a bit on!

'high lights' by technic

Again, not essential but I love the look of the sun beaming onto the highlights defining your face and making you look beautifully radiant!

Vaseline
I used this to keep my eyebrows tidy and to soften my lips so they don't get chapped in the sea breeze.
Barbara Daly lipstick in 'sugar cane'
Lipcote

I then took the lipstick of my choice- of course to match my outfit- and put on a coat of Lipcote on top to make sure it didn't melt off in the gleaming sun!

'They're Real' mini mascara
Mascara is a must in all scenarios if I am honest though for this particular occasion I would of preferred a waterproof one, though to be honest it didn't run or melt at all even when the day was at its hottest so its waterproof isn't essential!

Charlie Body spray in 'Touch'

'Sure' Anti-perspiring deodorant

Of course Deodorant!!! It may not stop you sweating in this kind of heat because that wouldn't be healthy but you want a bit on so you don't stink either! Sorry to put it that bluntly but you know I'm right, right?(; I also sprayed a little body spray on just to make sure!

There you have it, my beauty kit made ready for that ocean spray!

Unfortunately I am having trouble adding any more photos so I will open another one to share my adventures at the seaside!!!

Lazy Monday- Thoughts Sessions #001 Happiness

Hello my beautiful readers,

Just lately I've been feeling a bit down, a little depressed and I think I'm coming into that stage in life where I just don't know who I really am... I'm constantly changing, constantly moving, (even when I feel like the worlds stopped), and I'm constantly looking for complete and utter happiness I suppose.

I wrote a something a while ago, that I thought would help inspire me to keep searching and help me keep the hope... It is so important to be happy, so I thought I'd share it with you, just incase you need a boost.. And if you don't well a top up of hope will do you good anyway!

"Happy endings. Do they exist?
                                          No.
If you have to ask yourself then no, it's a hungry tiger feeding on all of your hopes and dreams; it's a vile trick of nature played upon you day after day, just to make you believe it's real; it is mentally and physically impossible and you shall die sad and alone... That is, if you have to ask yourself.
You see, life isn't like the movies you see on the big screens, or Eastenders, or Coronation street- I learnt that the hard way- but I suppose you may know that already.

Life is a deep well of desire, despair, hope and glory, happiness, loneliness, sadness and joy, love, lust and creativity which sucks the emotion from your soul as it makes you laugh, cry, lustful and suicidal, fearless and horrified- but life doesn't have to have to win: life doesn't have to control us. Life gave us nothing but one thing: choices.

You may choose to have your happy ending, but if you don't give life the determination to survive on, it will feed on every other emotion you feel and portray until the day you die... So stop reading, get up and do something towards your Happy Ending!"- Trulie H

So there you have it, you don't need to do anything other than be determined to LIVE! No matter what direction you choose... I hope you enjoyed our first Lazy Monday- Thoughts session,
                                                                                                                          Love you lots, T xo
